Ticking stripe spent a couple hundred years covering mattresses and feather pillows before anyone thought to put it on a nice table, and it turns out it belonged there all along. This version is fine double green pinstripes on cream, finished with a gold foil wavy edge that catches the candlelight around all four sides. At 10" x 10", these green ticking stripe paper plates are big enough to anchor a stacked place setting with a 9" plate layered on top for Christmas dinner, or to hold a full plate from the buffet on their own. Nothing on them says December, so the same pack can come back out for a St. Patrick's Day supper or a spring baby shower.
